High Fashion

Card by Geri Greening used Red for the dress theme. I took this design and gave it a diff. finish by using Black and Stardust Stickles to make one earring to finish off the face. Highlighted shoulders, bodice and bottom of dress in Stardust Stickles as well as the gloves. Purse and hat done with Forever Young cartridge. Purse adorned with a clear rhinestone to give it bounce. The hat I added a few red liquid pearl dots for a flower, red is so nice with black. Gave the hat a finished look. Sentiment was hand written "High Fashion". The 4 fancy corners I used M. Stewart's Deco Shells Edge Corner punch had to cut to fit. Inked the white cardstock with basic black ink by Stampin'Up. Cuttlebug Textile Emboss folder used on the red cardstock. White base card with piece of black next.

  1. I just left you a comment on Geri's blog - love this image - she's wonderfully art deco, which you've carried through on the corner pieces!

  3. Awesome job Mar...it's the detail that makes the card stand out (as it does in all your work).. you should be teaching this locally...new starts can learn a lot from you.
